Love the Planet

After a hiatus, the Love March returned in 2024! On May 16, 2024, we held our annual Children's March and Love Rally.

One of Fayerweather's four pillars of our educational approach states that education must address the themes and issues of our times. A cornerstone of our education is the imperative to respond to the world around us. As a community this means thinking critically about questions of power and privilege, race and history, and the impact of our actions on the world around us.

One way our students do that is through the Fayerweather Unit Students-led Love March. Students pick a theme and organize a walk, rally, and art, poetry, and speeches around a theme.

More details for each year are on a student-created website. The 2025 website won't be available until closer to the 2025 march.
