While strongly encouraged, school tours are an optional step of the application process.  Caregiver interviews are a required step and run Monday through Friday at various times.

Once you have submitted an inquiry form, you are welcome to schedule a  tour and/or interview through our online registration system or by emailing our office  at admit@fayerweather.org.

The non-refundable application fee is $50. Fee waiver codes are available - please reach out to us if you would like one!
  • 4. Apply for Tuition Assistance (if applicable)

Applications for tuition assistance for the 2025-2025 school year will be available online through the Clarity Application to determine a family’s level of financial need based on the information that families share in the application which includes assets, income, expenses, and debts.

To get started, please go to the Clarity Application and create an account. The application typically takes less than 30 minutes to complete. The Clarity Application is also mobile-friendly so you can complete it from anywhere. You are also able to save your progress and return at any time. At the end of the application, there is a $60 fee to submit, and you can share your application with additional schools that accept the Clarity Application for no additional charge. Simply use the dropdown menu in the application to select those schools.

Please remember to return to your dashboard after you complete and submit your Clarity Application, as Fayerweather requires you to upload additional tax documentation including tax returns and W-2 forms.

The deadline for completing the financial aid application including relevant supplemental documents is February 1, 2025.

If you need support during the process of completing your application, there is in-app support available through the “Help” button in the bottom left of the screen, as well as email and phone support at support@clarityapp.com or 206-210-3752, in both English and Spanish. The application itself is also fully translated into Spanish.

Please be aware that our financial aid budget is typically distributed by the end of April.
  • 5. Student Check-In

All PreK- 1st grade applicants and parents will be invited to participate in grade level screenings. During these sessions, children will be asked to participate in a variety of activities that will help us get to know them. Parents will be given the opportunity to ask questions related to Fayerweather’s curriculum and school life.

2nd-8th grade visits will include time with classroom teachers across various disciplines as well as an academic assessment.

These visits are designed to begin building connections as well as conduct individual assessments. We will inform you of your screening date by mid-January.

Please note: In an effort to support an equitable admission process, Fayerweather does not require standardized testing as part of the admissions process. All 6th-8th grade applicants will be given a writing prompt to complete at the time of their visit.
  • 6. Decisions

Decision letters will be mailed on March 10, 2025. Families will have until April 10, 2025 to submit their enrollment contract and deposit to secure a space for the fall.
