Building Inclusive & Equitable Libraries for Children
In a joint event with Evergreen Day School from expert Victor L. Bradley, Jr. for FSS and Evergreen families with students in PK-2. In this conversation, Victor will model and show examples of how to choose diverse literature and how to read these books to young people. This conversation takes place at a time when children’s access to literature that reflects the diversity of world is increasingly under threat.
Victor L. Bradley, Jr. has over thirty years of experience as an educator in elementary and early childhood settings serving various communities with over twenty years of diversity training. He brings a deep commitment to social justice into the educational classroom setting through extensive experience with history, anti-bias, and anti-racist curriculum development and implementation from PreK through 8th grade.
